All India OBC national president Pothala Prasad expressed special thanks to Rahul Gandhi during the census of BC caste in Telangana. After the state of Bihar in India, Andhra Pradesh and now Telangana state government is also announcing that they are conducting BC census
It is very gratifying that after Rahul Gandhi's announcement in Nagpur during the Padayatra that we are committed to the caste census of BCs, Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of the Telangana where the Congress party is in government, has announced that even now the BCs are recognized in the society through caste enumeration and welfare schemes for people of all walks of life.
As the caste census is very useful in order to get the power of the state, We also request for the immediate efforts should be made to increase the reservation from 22% to 43% in the local elections.
