Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa CollegeThe Department of Mathematics, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi hosted the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and its Applications (ICMSA 2024). To begin with, Anhad - The Divinity Society of the college performed Shabad recitation to invoke divine blessing. The event was graced by the chief guest, Prof. Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi. Padma Bhushan S. Tarlochan Singh Ji welcomed the dignitaries and motivated the delegates. Principal Prof. Gurmohinder Singh and Vice-Principal Prof. Harbans Singh greeted the guests. The conference witnessed international speakers including Prof. Eberhard Malkowsky from Serbia and Prof. Yasunori Kimura from Japan who delivered plenary talks in Master Tara Singh Auditorium. Prof. S. K. Pal from DRDO engaged the audience with an interesting talk of Mathematics in Space Sciences. Prof. Satish Verma, Prof. Dharmendra Kumar and Dr. Ruchi Kaur from the Department of Mathematics coordinated the event with full support from the faculty. The 3-day event scheduled to be held during October 15-17, 2024 shall throw light on the wide range of theoretical as well as application-oriented arenas of Mathematics and related sciences. Over 100 scholars from across the country are expected to present their research work and engage in fruitful discussions with scope for potential collaboration on future research projects.
